Cary has handled and advised on a
wide range of commercial transactions. Some of the more
interesting cases include advising a group of companies
involved in the exploitation and marketing of forest
timber in South America in the sale of its interest. The
transaction involved cross jurisdictional issues arising
from Hong Kong, Suriname, British Virgin Islands and
China.
Cary has also advised a group of
companies on the sale of its shares by structuring the
deal with call options, acquisition by stage and
devising a complicated formula of the calculation of the
consideration for each acquisition stage.
